BRIDGEWATER — Chief John Schlatz is pleased to announce that the Bridgewater Fire Department has launched a redesigned website.
The redesigned website, bridgewaterfire.org, has a user-friendly design that allows visitors to access resources, department rosters, news, permits, and more within a few clicks.
On the homepage, visitors can access information about fire prevention, such as smoke alarm and detector regulations, propane exchange and storage cage requirements, fire department fees, and carbon monoxide information.
Also on the homepage, users can access the Alert Center, where they can subscribe to Notify Me to receive community notifications during major events, emergencies, or weather-related incidents. Users can also access permit registration and burn permit information.
Under the “Community” tab, visitors can access information about community programs such as the Bridgewater Seniors First home visits, child safety seat installations, and the Student and Senior SAFE programs.
Under the “Fire Prevention” tab, users can access inspection, open burning, and fire prevention information.
The website will be updated with news, events, and other updates. Users are encouraged to subscribe to the site via email to stay up to date with Department news.
The Bridgewater community is invited to follow the Fire Department via social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter/X, and Instagram.
